JASON MEKSCH

Jason Meksch was born and raised in Oregon and earned a Bachelor of Science from Southern Oregon University. He began his professional journey in the telecommunications industry, where he built a successful 16-year career. During that time, he also taught financial planning classes through his local church—an experience that ignited a deep passion for helping individuals and families plan for their financial future.

 

This passion eventually led Jason to transition into financial advising full-time. Prior to founding Summit Financial, he owned and operated JH Meksch Financial Services in Colorado, where he offered comprehensive financial planning and led an independent insurance agency. His extensive background gives him expertise across all areas of insurance, including health, life, property, and casualty coverage.

 

Jason holds several professional licenses and designations, including:

 

• CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®)

• Health and Life Insurance License

• Property and Casualty Insurance License

• Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 securities licenses

 

 

As the owner and lead advisor at Summit Financial, Jason works closely with clients—alongside advisor Tyler—to craft tailored financial strategies and deliver sound investment guidance.

 

Outside the office, Jason has been joyfully married to his wife, Hannah, for 24 years. They have two children, Nathan and Riley, and are proud grandparents to two grandchildren—with a third on the way.
